On the Alibaba Cloud website, we find the domain name registration ( https://wanwang.aliyun.com ), enter the domain name you want, if the domain name is not registered by others, then you can add it to the list and click to settle immediately.
Then jump to the settlement page, confirm the holder's information, make the payment, and the purchase and registration are successful.
Note that domain names need to pass real-name authentication before they can be resolved and used normally. After the purchase is successful, you can perform real-name authentication in the domain name management background.
You can confirm on the console whether your domain name has completed real-name authentication. Friends who have not authenticated should hurry up.
DNS
The use of a domain name will undergo domain name resolution. The so-called domain name resolution is to point this domain name to the IP address of the target server through the function of the DNS server.
For example, when making a website, after the website page is made, first put it on a host or a server. The host and the server generally have their own corresponding IP addresses. It is impossible for every user to remember our IP address (numbers are also difficult to remember), so we need domain name resolution to point the domain name to the corresponding IP address through the DNS server.
When we visit the domain name, the DNS server will play a role, let the domain name open the content on the target IP address, and finally open the website on the corresponding server.
It should be noted that if your server is located in China, the domain name needs to be registered on the registration management platform.
