How to download and configure Tomcat server?
Tomcat was originally developed by Sun's software architect James Duncan Davidson. Later he helped turn it into an open source project, and Sun contributed to the Apache Software Foundation. The Tomcat server is a free and open source web application server. It is a lightweight application server. It is widely used in small and medium-sized systems and concurrent users. Let's talk about how to download and configure the tomcat server:
1. Download directly from Apache: www.apache.org
2. Enter the Apache official website and pull down to the end
3. Find Tomcat in alphabetical order, click to enter
4. The latest one has reached 10. I downloaded 8, click to enter, select the corresponding version to download, it will be downloaded soon
5. Unzip after downloading, open the folder and you will see the sub-files contained in the file shown in the figure below.
