Linus Torvalds 发布了 Linux Kernel 4.18 版本的最新候选版 4.18-rc3，并表示没有什么重要的更新内容，主要是进行了一些小修复和改进，并表示大家可以用于进行测试了。

该补丁版有三分之一的更新内容和驱动有关，包括 input, usb, sound, gpu, mtd, networking 等，其余的更新则包括 arm/arm64 - dts files dominating, microblaze, powerpc, x86, filesystems (xfs, some btrfs, some minor core vfs), networking, documentation updates 和 tooling 等内容。
