【5G学习笔记-8】38.306 36.306 User Equipment (UE) radio access capabilities 以及终端CDRX能力上报 featureGroupIndic

38.306 36.306分别定义了LTE 和NR的radio能力,以及计算最大速率的公式。

在看38.331协议时 看到UE在ueCapabilityInformation消息的UE-NR-Capability IE中, mac-Parameters的 longDRX-Cycle和      shortDRX-Cycle自动为true,应该就是说终端支持CDRX能力。但是在38.331协议中并没有讲这个字段的含义。

但38.331协议中有如下描述:

UE-NR-Capability

The IE UE-NR-Capability is used to convey the NR UE Radio Access Capability Parameters, see TS 38.306 [26].

嗯,38.306 User Equipment (UE) radio access capabilities 是专门定义终端能力的。协议中需要终端强制实现的在此协议中没有定义。

在38.306有如下定义:

longDRX-Cycle

Indicates whether UE supports long DRX cycle as specified in TS 38.321 [8].

shortDRX-Cycle

Indicates whether UE supports short DRX cycle as specified in TS 38.321 [8].

所以longDRX-Cycle,shortDRX-Cycle字段确实用于上报终端能力。

 

在lte中 CDRX能力在UE-EUTRA-Capability的featureGroupIndicators的第5bit中。36.306中还有其他参数和cdrx相关,当关闭终端的cdrx能力后,这些参数应该也不支持了。后面可以对比一下ueCapabilityInformation消息中的字段差异

The IE UE-EUTRA-Capability is used to convey the E-UTRA UE Radio Access Capability Parameters, see TS 36.306 [5], and the Feature Group Indicators for mandatory features (defined in Annexes B.1 and C.1) to the network.The IE UE-EUTRA-Capability is transferred in E-UTRA or in another RAT.
